Vincenzo and Silvia were honored to host Roberta Maffettone (Joint Research Center, ISPRA) and Pietro Drei (Ph.D. candidate at University of Bologna & Visiting Scientist at Ispra) as speakers for a very interesting chat entitled Splash Forward! Safe Water Reuse for Irrigation.

📢 On January 24th, 2024 had our first YWPIT - Young Water Professionals Italy annual meeting! 🔥

Our Chair Matia Mainardis and Social Media Manager Silvia Bolognesi presented our group and discussed the activities carried out in 2023 💡📈

It was a great chance to have an open brainstorming with our members to discuss the activities planned for 2024, and to collect suggestions about what our network would be interested in moving forward! 📖 💧

We are proud to be involved the organization of the first-ever YWP European Conference! Our Chair Matia Mainardis and Social Media Manager Silvia Bolognesi are directly involved in the Program Committee, working together with the other YWP Chapters to make this event unique and unforgettable 💪

Last week (June, 26 - 29th), the 6th IWA International conference on eco-technologies for wastewater treatment  (EcoSTP2023) was held in Girona, Spain!

We had the chance to meet many YWPs from different chapters, and to hear many interesting talks! 

We look forward to having more in-person gatherings!

Last Wednesday (22/03) we celebrated the World Water Day 💧🌍, with two unique networking opportunities for all Young Water Professionals in Italy (or Italian abroad)! 🎇
